Unibroue's beers are inspired by the great Belgian brewing tradition established during the past two centuries by the Trappist monks. Brewed using the traditional process of bottle-refermentation(in-which fresh yeast and pure sugar are added just prior to bottling), our beers are only partially filtered, providing a naturally cloudy appearance and most satisfying mouthfeel. Our brewing methods are time consuming and costly. Given that the beers contain no chemical additives or preservatives, they require strict quality control. This all-natural brewing process is also why our beers are higher in alcohol content and can provide a rich flavour without the bitter aftertaste of conventional beers.

La Fin du Monde means "The End of the World". It was brewed in honor of the intrepid European explorers who believed they had reached the 'end of the world' when they discovered a "new world" that would later become knows as America.
