Three Floyds Brewing opened its doors in 1996 as a very small brewery in Hammond, Indiana. Acceptance of the beers took off right away, initially as draft only products, then contract brewed bottles were added. As demand grew, the brewery moved to Munster, added their own bottling line, and began receiving awards and compliments about their beers. According to Ratebeer.com, Three Floyds is rated as the second best brewery. Currently they distribute in 10 states.
